X Lathe Backplot??

In V9 when backplotting a part, you could set the verify 'on' so when you have your stock

set for shaded, you see the material being removed with each pass when stepping thru.

I cannot find anywhere to make this happen???

This was a real handy function in 9.

Perhaps Gcode may be able to shed some light on it?

Thanks

I sent an email off to mc qc

here is what they said:

The "switch" is the button to the immediate left of the exclamation mark

in Backplot. If you hover the mouse, the tooltip should say "Quick

Verify" which is terminology used to differentiate that from the Verify

function (as opposed to backplot).

You need to have both the Quick Verify button down (on) and pause as you

step through - if you click (or hit s) until you get a retract, then

hesitate/pause for about a second, the stock will disappear. This is

still being worked on. The problem is that to remove the stock in Run

mode would really bog things down significantly.

Now I tried this and it did not work at all for me.

I paused 1 sec. 2sec. 10 sec, 5 minutes.....

Not sure about the bogging down thing,it worked very nicely in 9.

Whoever they outsourced creating the backplot for X should get there stuff together.....

I am hoping this is something that they can resolve cause if not,it will suck!!
