AutoSave - Folder

In V9 I have the posibility to save automatic in a certain folder. eg C:AutosaveMill.MC9.

Now the AutoSave function don't allow to define the folder.

I get a lot of AutosaveMill.MCX in different folders.

Is there a posibility to get my Autosaves again in a specific folder ???

It's sublte, but you can type the desired location in the same box you would name the file. If you do not type a location and ou just type a name "backup" Mastercam automatically save a file named "backup" in the same directory as the mcx file you are working on.It's kinda nice because this way you get multiple backup files saved with the original mcx files.

Thanks for the reply but I still have the problem.

In the autosave setting box is not possible to add the folder because when I accept, the folder disapear.

And if I change the config file MCX don´t take the folder.

It just save a Backup file in the folder where my opened file is. Like Dave wrote.

Another idea.???

Thanks anyway

After changing the autosave location in "settings", "config", it doesn't show the folder path, but if you then open the mcamx.config file (or whatever .config you're using) in a text editor, you can add the folder path there. It still won't display the folder path in "settings", "config", but it will save the autosave file where you want it to. Try using the folder path to your desktop for the autosave file and see if it drops it there.
