Lost in Translation-Iges.- Accuracy-X

Hi

Here recently I've been working with a lot of Iges. files, the parts kinda look like, heat shields for a muffler. some of the Iges. files come in are missing or corrupt surfaces, loose or misalined wires.

Ok, my two part question is.

1. Is there a way to change the accuracies

so I can expand or contract the wire frame and/or surfaces in Mcam?

2. Are there any good tutorials on fixing Translated surfaces?

"Oh yea" sometimes asking for a non-corrupt file is not feasible...

Once again! Thanks for your help!

Download the trial version of Rhino load the file and let Rhino "repair" the file. Rhino does a great job with iges file repair.... that alone might be enough reason to purchase, but Rhino does other things too. I use Rhino a lot to help me repair and manulipate files. It is inexpensive and a tool that I will always have handy. here is the linky:http://www.rhino3d.com/[url/]
