USB Hasp key

Jay.. I got my USB Hasp yesterday and I was dumb enough to not realize that NT-4 does not support USB .. thru a little looking I found out that "aladdin" the people that make the hasps have support for nt-4 but you need to go thru your dealer for the software.. what's up with that?.. is there an upcharge for that? .. and if so Am I better off to upgrade to Win2000 ..

For whatever reasons, you will benifit heavily in many areas from win2kpro. Unless XP kicks it's butt, win2k is the best thing Gates has come up with yet. Haven't tried XP yet...........

Go with Windows 2000.

I dont think htere is a upcharge. i can check.

But i do have to say that Jamman is right Win2k is much more stable and i find it to be faster.

And the price look around, i have seen a copy for abput $120.00 oem copys in some of the comuter stores.

Ok just got off the phone with CNC main office.

They say there is no upcharge for the software.

But i still sugest if you can to update to Win2k.

I will be getting ready to setup a hard drive with Win XP so i will let you guys know my thoughts on it.
