Hello,

I am verifying a set of roughing and finishing operations and I am trying to simulate a collision between my tool holder and part on the finishing operation. I have reduced the tool length and increased the tool holder diameter, to purposely initiate a collision, however the verify does not stop on any collisions (the stop on collision toggle is activated) and the finished part shows no gauges. Am I missing a command ?????

Thanks in advance

If you are using V9,changing the tool holder params in the tool parameter page will have no effect in verify.

I believe you will have to change the geometry of the tool in the main directory of mastercam. The holder.mc9 file.

Not sure how it will work in X
