MRU

Can someone give this ago and let me know how they go.

 

Drag your MRU Toolbar onto the graphics screen.Now close it by clicking the Red cross.

Now try get it back,where is it?

 

If you reload a Toolbar state it comes back.

 

The thing is if you save your file with it closed and then open it later the MRU toolbar is not there.

the MRU toolbar is under Setting-Configuration:

Check 'Enable MRU Toolbar"

dragged to the graphics, hit the X mark.

went 2 the settings turn it off and went back to turn it on again.

everyhting is OK.

Man, I have too much free time!

David I have enven moved over to the other monitor and not had troubles.

 

Not sure of the issues but seems you are having alot of them.

This not to bag on you just what I am seeing.

A MRU toolbar on/off toggle has been added toolbar area context menu for MR1. This should make this problem a little easier.

We had this discussion at our distributors roll out seminar.

 

In the original release the only way to get the MRU toolbar turned back on was in the Settings-Configurations.

 

I havn't looked at it because I don't turn it off but, as Steve said above, a toggle has been added to SP1.

 

It's not a monitor issue, it's a software issue.

Help/contents/index/&search appear to have no new info re: the new MRU toolbar on/off toggle, and hovering over each button in the default toolbars does not find it.

i miss out one thing:

r u aware that if u click the X mark on the MRU toolbar the it doesn't update the config? (it shows that the toobar is on)

i had to turn off on the config, hit apply, exit and go back to turn it on again.

click the red X on the MRU toolbar once it's on your graphics display erea and save the file. When you reopen that file the MRU Toolbar is not there.

Yup, jusst turn it off-apply-OK and on-apply-OK again in config-screen. it comes back. wwe'll just have to live with that....

The menu that comes up when you right click in the toolbar area grey space. There are toggles for all the toolbars in that list (except the MRU bar). The MRU toggle was added for MR1, which is not available yet.

I just lost my MRU and can't get it back. Don't see anything in the toolbar area context menu, that's with SP1.

Go into settings,config,screen there is now a toggle (sp1) for MRU turn it off then exit the config menu. Now open it again and turn the MRU toggle back on that should give it back.

If you close the toolbar with the red arrow it still shows the MRU toggled tick under settings, config,screen.

Thanks David, does'nt seem to work. What was added for sp1? I don't see anything other than the Enable MRU Toolbar box, which was there pre-sp1.

In the screen config there is a place where you can set how many buttons the MRU toolbar will keep.

Is yours set to more than 0?

tried everything from 1 to 20, and no change.

 

Now however I just opened a .mcx file that was emailed to me, and the MRU is back (ironically enough in the middle of the screen)

 

If it matters at all, I clicked on the email attachment and let mcx open itself...as compared to saving the attachment, opening mcx, then file>get. Maybe related to which config opened? even thought it's still my default.

Try loading a toolbar state.Right mouse click on blank erea on ribbon bar,at the botton Load toolbar state load 2D for example.Does the MRU come back?
