The same method that u did on previous versions.

 

Solid-Sloid Trim-(surface/plane/sheet)-just make keep all and do it.

Your topic says create curve slice,your question asks slice a solid??

 

Create/Curve/Create curve slice,activate solid selection pick solid or solids,Apply.

welcome to the forum...

 

i ran into this lil conundrum myself a while back...

 

you go to create....curve...create curve slice...and theres a little button above the ribbon bar that these guys are refering to...looks like a blueish cube with a check mark in it...clicking that allows you to select a solid...from there you should be golden...

Welcome to the forum! Follow the advice of everyone above. I'm including a picture of the general selection bar with the solid selection cube they're referring to. After the first cube button is clicked, the GSB changes to show the solid Face and whole solid Body buttons. HTH
