I am trying to drill aprox. 40 holes of sevral different sizes in cyldrical tube parts. I have 60 parts all very different. I got solids from the customer after I drew a few and tested the solid drill, all worked like a dream. Now I have two big probs!! First off half of the time Mcam says the solid has no holes. Is there some hole tollerance setting that Im missing? Second ,and most irritating, anytime I have holes 180deg apart it trys to drill both from one side. When I tryed to extrude a boss to close the hole in the center of the tube once again it says the solid has No Holes Detected.

I fear I am in deep POO Please help! confused.gifconfused.gifconfused.gifconfused.gifconfused.gifconfused.gif

There is a hole a min/max setting in solid drill that you can set.

Try setting limit search to tool plane or include blind holes.

Hope this helps.
