attributes not refreshing

Has anyone had a problem after importing geometry or just changing color attributes?

I imported some geometry lines, arcs, surfs...to an existing file with toolpaths. My color was set to red. All imported entities are red by looks but attributes remain correct ie level 1 color 10 for example.

The only way I have found to fix is to delete the entities in question and undelete them.

Yup, delete was the only thing, so far, I have found that works.

go into your group manager and see if it put your imported geometry into a 'group'. if so just delete the group name or set the group to use entities original colors and all will be well

File/Merge-Pattern will ALWAYS create a group from each placement of the incoming geometry (worked that way in V9 too). By default, grouped entities are displayed in the group's color, not in the individual entity's color.

'deckerc' is correct - go to Settings/Config/Colors and switch to 'Use entity colors' in the "Group colors" groupbox and you'll see each entity in its own color.
