Ok,

here is where I am at.

I can't do Pocket - Constant Overlap Spiral, because we only have level 2.

So I am trying to use Surface, Rough, Parallel.

The part is closed on the ends.

How do I get the tool to ramp into the cut and still stay inside of the Geo.

There is no lead in/lead out option.

Rory -

If you have level 2 - define the pocket as a single surface (Coons works the best for doing this) and then use the top surface as a check surface. The sUrface Rough Pocket routine should generate a nice path for you. Spiral inside to out with a ramping routine for entry. I like to project the edge of the surface onto a plane and use this as a tool center boundary. Note - I use different colors for features (ie - Surfaces are Blue and Boundries are Red. When selecting use a colour mask and select all colour Blue etc...)

Hope this works, I am stuck using M/C v7.2 L2 and Pro/Manufacturing 2001 - Note M/C has more functionality for this simple type stuff!
