missing hole

Has anyone seen a problem with MasterCam

dropping the first hole that has been selected for drilling? It doesn't matter if I select manually or mask on arc at least 50% of the time

it drops the first hole. It happens more often

if I zoom after selecting the first hole. My Dealer has never seen this problem. I thought MasterCam may have gotten corrupted so I did a complete re-install and that did not help. - any ideas?

I am using V9.1 MR 0304 educational version

I don't see how it could be the post, after selecting, say, four holes and hitting escape

it says 3 holes selected at the bottom prompt.

It may have started after I had Gibbs installed

or after I replaced my hard drive or it may have been happening all along.

I started working for C-U Boulder a year and a half ago. About a year ago is when I noticed but until then I may have thought it was just

Operator error. Now I am sure it is not my fault.

I did not know about this forum 'till last week

It seems like a grand place to come for tips. you'll be seeing a lot more of me from now on.

I haven't heard this one until now. I use mask on arc and always get the right quantity of points.

Do you know an Engineering student by the name of Tom Szelag at CU Boulder? He's a forum member here too and I'll bet he would be willing to take a shot at helping you with this problem. Sometimes 2 heads really are better than 1! biggrin.gif
