printing problems

i keep getting blank pages when i try to print

in mastercam x. i tried changing my background

colors but it didn't help. has anyone else had this problem. what is the solution?

Have you tried printing from the print preview screen? That's how I usually have to print anything. I don't know if that will help you or not, but it might be worth a shot.

that worked. i am currently using wire9.1 and

am just starting to design in mastercam x.

it is going to take some getting use to. i don't

know what i will be getting into when wirepathing

and posting becomes available.

I'm using a black and white printer but had to switch my printer properties to "color" in order to get anything but a blank page.

We're having the same problem in X on our color laser. I have tried printing from preview but there I only get the dimension lines and text, no geometry.

 

Wasn't X supposed to make things easier?

Great to see you're using the forum. You'll find that the users here are both helpful and a riot. Call me if that printing problem continues or with any questions on X. I know it takes some getting used to, but you'll get it.

I just spoke with Chris at CNCsoftare and he assured me all printing issues will be fixed in MR1 scheduled to be released on 12-23-05.

I have similar printing problems and have used all the suggestions from previous threads to get satisfactory results.

 

The problem I am having since I started using NEW computer with x64 bit o.s. is I can no longer print in color. The color tab in the options box is grayed out and not even usable!

 

So far Mastercam is the only software I have found that has this printing issue with x64.
