Help....curved text!

Is it possible to have text printed on a arc in mastercam....if so how is this done.

Please Help!!!!!!

create/next menu/letters. Select true type,select font. Enter letters. enter height of letters. a menu will magically appear on the left. select top of arc or bottom of arc from menu. Enter desired letter spacing. Enter arc center. Enter arc radius. Click!

Hey jamman is this magic in all the mastercam seats?

It took me a couple minutes to figure it out. The last time I did curved letters was V3.2! It seemed lots easier in 3.2-

3.2 that was magical.

All tool paths then were.

I use to do alot of that back in the ver3.

The good old DOS days on a 286.

I guess I was lucky with a 386! Came with a Centroid retrofit on an acer mill. I still till this day use set my menu and prompt backgrounds to black so hitting alt/B gives that original 3.x look. Some things you never get over.

So i take you still go back for fun and run the tool paths under "Wireframe" or as in version 7.2c

I've been making a decent living thus far on drlling, pocketing and contouring. I only have mill level 1 on both my seats. At one place I worked I did play with v5 and did some simulated 3d surface stuff but never ran it on a mill. The minute I have a need for it I'll hire someone who already knows it and learn from him! A new level of cheating.
