I have not been able to find what is causing this.

A few days ago a drill cycle would post like this:

---------------------------------

G56 H10 Z2.

G71 Z2.

G82 X-.5 Y.5 Z-.1 R.1 P.5 F.7 M53

X.5

Y-.5

X-.5

G80 M53

M9

---------------------------------

But starting yesterday the same drill cycle posts like this:

---------------------------------

G56 H10 Z2.

Z.1

G82 X-.5 Y.5 Z-.1 R.1 P.5 F.7 M54

X.5

Y-.5

X-.5

G80 M53

Z3.

M9

----------------------------------

The G71 stopped posting???

The funny thing is, if I open an older file it will re-post correctly with the G71, but all newly created files post just like the second sample.

I have not changed anything that I know of !!!

What could it be??????

Post related or machine control??

I am at a standstill untill I can fix this!!!!

Thanks

Somehow you have changed the hard copy of your Contol Definition

New jobs use the new (and wrong) CD, while

older jobs work right because the internal CD is right.

You will need to compare the CD from a file that works right to you current CD. You will probably find one minor difference that has caused all the trouble.

There is a chook called CDCompare that you might want to try. I've never used it, but this is the kind of problem it was built for.
