lighting in verify

I cannot seem to get the light to change from top view. Help me please.

In vX, all the lighting is configurable under the "Settings/Configuration" 'Shading' option. Define your lights there and that's what you should wind up with when you go into Verify.

I dont see what you are talking about. I have my wcs set to bottom to machine the part. in stock set up i have stock plane set to bottom. in verify the light comes from top so side I am lookng at is dark. can barly see it. In setting config I sdont see how I can change that.

I turned all the light buttons on in settings and that seemed to help.

I'm having a similar issue with this. My WCS is in the top view but 60 inches away in Y and 20 in X. The light appears to be coming from the origin but NOT the WCS's origin. Its very dark! As mnJeffs said in the above reply, if you turn on all the lights it kinda helps, but its not as it should be or was in Version 9. The light seems like its coming in from the side. Any other ideas or setttings to try? BTW I have MR1.

 

Also when I turn the lights off (all but one) in the config, they dont turn off. I have to exit for it to reset, any ideas on that?
