First many thanks to all who post questions

and especially answers and tips - have saved

me many hours and much trouble

Running X Mill level3

If I create a new c-plane by picking geometry

and give it a name my screen says the c-plane is not saved - there is a save option in the planes menu but I can't get it to do anything

Now if I translate that created c-plane to another plane - I can't go back to originally created c-plane it is listed in the named planes but I can't go back to it am I missing something?

Also in V9 there was a way to change the screen density display of existing surfaces - I don't see how to change this value after they are created in X

Select the surface, right click on Attributes at the bottom of the screen. Density is at the bottom. You can change an existing attribute that way.

To change the surface density for all new surfaces, set the attribute with a left click, and then all new surfaces will be that way.
