Graphics card issue with 9

Hey y'all,

 

Installed 9 on a computer with an ATI All-in-Wonder 9800 128MB DDR graphics card. Ran good for a while. But now I randomly loose my cross hairs, origin, etc. Tried different background color, didn't help. Would a voltage adjustment possibly help. I already increased it .1v for per ATI recommendation for overall performance.

Try turning down hardware accelleration or disabling OpenGL.

 

ATI cards have known issues with MC.

IF you haven't yet, do a search for . "ATI video cards" on the forum. There are quite a few topics about these cards there. They may be able to help you if Thads idea didn't work out.

Go to desktop and right click in it to bring up menu, pick properties/settings/advanced/troubleshoot/move hardware acceleration slider to 1 bar to the right of none/ok/appearance/effects/uncheck the transition effects box/ok/apply/ok

 

this should take care of it.
