Making a Totoro on Rhinoceros CAD Software

Hello!

 

I am taking a CMV (Computer Modeling and Visualization) class in my school. For my project, I am making a Totoro. (If you don't know what that is and want to find out, a simple search in Google Images will suffice).

 

I have two questions:

How can I render Totoro to make him look furry?

Also, how can I make realistic-looking rain?
