how i can add j1, j2, j3 , j4

hi everybody,i have this problem, i use different vise `s each vise hold 4 pieces I used the color green for original point or zero in each part, i want to use g54 and add j1..j2..j3....and j4 how i can do this

Are you talking about setting different G54's for the different vise's? If you are, then the first operation of each "job", change the T/C plane to "1", "2", "3", etc.

i used t/c plane,for the vises example i have 3 vises . first vise G54, second vise G55 , third vise G56 ok

so in each vise holding 4 pieces total 12

all my part in the first vise are g54 but i used j1 first part,j2 second,j3 ... and j4

note: the j1 to j4 we used in the controls i can move the oofset for individual part

Whats your code look like?

G0 G90 G54 J1 X0 Y0 ???

some thing like that,J`s instead of using G54.1 P1

`s and so on?

G0 G90 G54.1 P1 X0 Y0

If your looking for J`s in place of P`s thats

just some post mods

If you just need to change the 'P' letter on the G54P1 to be a 'J', here is the simple change ->

Find this line in the MPFAN.PST ->

fmt P 4 p_wcs #WCS P address

Change to (change 'P' to 'J') ->

fmt J 4 p_wcs #WCS J address
