MR 2 sample problem?

I tried to look at the new MR 2 samples in the metric folder. advanced multiaxis, 4AX_COMPRESSOR_ARMATURE-MM.MCX, then tried to back plot this path and MC crashes.

I had that problem.

I was running the latest gretest NVIDIA Quadro drivers (v84.26)

I uninstalled them and went back to v77.56 and that fixed the problem.

Settings - Configuration - Screen Topic page.

Check on the 'Disable front buffer' option.

I am using a Quadro FX500/FX600 driver is 8.4.2.6

uninstall those drivers and replace them with these

Quadro drivers v77.56

 

these drivers have solved this problem on 2 different computers I run

I use 1600 x1200 on my 20in flat screens.

A good CRT will probably go way higher than that, but things may get too small.

I'd start at 1280 x 1024 and work my up by trial and error

 

edit: I still have to disable the

unified back/depth buffer on the

Performance and Quality page

Otherwise,single step backplot does not work properly

..... even if front buffer is disabled in System Config
