X+ SET UP SHEETS

Since loading the new MR-2 I can't get the x+ set up sheet to open at all. I have reloaded it and it still does not work.

After making the config change to .set do you open the set up sheet somwhere else or do I need to reinstall x= setupsheet. it still will not open.

I believe several people have solved this by a reinstall and yet others have still had problems.

 

I read your initial question quick and thought setup sheets in X but I see your using the X+ sheet.

 

Some people have gotten it to work and other still have not, not sure why.

X+ needs to be reinstalled for MR2. make sure you select the correct directory if you did a side x side instal of MR2

I needed to do the reinstall and it works for me.

I'm still getting the incompatible C-hook error. Its telling me to recompile and relink the c-hook--not quite sure what to do. I have already tried to reinstall fresh copy of x+, but to no avail. Does the .dll need to reside in another location besides the x+ folder within the c-hooks folder? When I try to run the x+.dll I get another error message: program entry point not found. Any thoughts?

Bruce, I have this exact problem on my system at home.

 

I've done the re-install and all, no go.

Really makes no sense how some are running it yet for others it doesn't work?

 

I tried again last night to reinstall, double checked all paths, I get the blue op manager but when I hit ALT+C and try to run the chook, I get the error stated above.

 

 

 

I've had a couple people contact m ealso with the same problem.

What does the c-hook do that using the icons doesn't do? If I use the icons on the X+ toolbar, it works, if I alt-c and try to use the chook, I get the same error as above as well.

OK, I got it.

 

I had to go in and create a new toolbar, add the icons out of the customize settings, also added it to the RMB.

 

Now it works. However if I try to access it using alt+C it willl fail.

John, that worked for me also. Thats strange that it doesn't work going right to the c hook folder. Thanks for the help. Does x+ work for the lathe. I am just know starting to program for the lathe.
