hard milling h-13

I am considering doing some hard milling of h-13. I have not done much hard milling and am wondering if someone can give me suggestions on speeds and feeds. The cavities I am milling out are fairly detailed and will need to be finish with small endmills 1/32 dia. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

OSG is a good start for hard machining cutters.

Are you planning on roughing BHT or are you machining

from a solid heat treated block ??

What kind of machine?(control) Holders? work holding??

I know this not the machine but with 1/16 and 1/32 dia endmills I was wondering if is possible

The material you leave BHT will be the determining factor

in whether you'll be able to use this machine.

As long as your semi-finish pass isnt too heavy you

should be OK.

Again without seeing a model, we're flyin blind
