Haas VF2SS post

RELAX... I DON'T WANT A FREE POST.

I just purchased a new Haas VF2SS with the Renishaw probe and tool setting package. I'm not seeing anything in the generic-Haas post or MPFAN which takes advantage of these features.

Either post can be modified and tweaked, but why reinvent the wheel. I'm sure someone has already customized one for this machine.

If you have a post or know of a post which would work better with this machine than the posts which come on the CD, could you please let me know and I will have my reseller acquire it.

Thanks

I don't think that the tool setting setup is going to factor into your posting very much unless you are going to use it for broken tool detection. I know that there are some guys who have really tweaked out posts for spindle probing but I hand-write all of mine so I'm no help. I run MPHAAS with a few simple mods on my buddy's VF2SS with no issues but we're just doing straight-up milling; nothing fancy.
