tool library again

Hi,

I trying to create my own tools by editing existing tool library, exactly like I did in ver 9. Basically I changing name of the tool and speed and feed (for example 1 inch iscar insert cutter),but when I saving this tool to the library , it appear some where but not at place where I expecting to see it . I sort it out by diameter it came out mixed end end mills and drills ,I sort it by type-diameters is mixed . Any one has solution for it?

Use the Filter button on the right hand side of the Tool Manager dialog box. This is a better way to specify which tools will display in the tool list area

If you click on the Diameter first, then click on tool type, this will sort it the way you want, but im with steve, try to use the filter.

Mig are you aware you can import your tools from V9 into Mcx. It appears you are recreating them again? Under File tab is a Import directory in this you will find the ability to import Ver 9 tools.
