Hi ,All!

It may be strange confused.gif , but I want to find the easy way to draw the

surface curve ,cause I need it for the

map C-Hook .

The only way I found was to create-curve-intersect

and in options to check surface curve.

It is not an easy way.

May be somebody knows another ,more easy one?

Good one Allen, I forgot about that.

I had someone here on Friday teaching them Mastercam and this was one thing I was pointing out to him. Is there are several ways to skin the cat in this software.

Just in drilling he was amazed.

He is an Ex-Gibbs user.

Hello ,Cadcam! smile.gif

I am talking about an actual surface curve.

If you run the flatsrf C-Hook you will get only the outer conture of the surface and to get the inner one you must use C-Hook map ,which works only with real surface curves not NURBS splines,

nor parametric splines or lines and arcs. frown.gif

You are right:

"Create" "Curve" "Project" is o.k.and slice and partline also but may be you know about the simple way to built the surface curve from stretch.

The client gives you surfaces and how can you build the surface curve without intersection or project?

May be with some C-Hook ?

To convert surface curve to spline there is con2spl C-hook ,but may be some reverse C-Hook.

BTW what is a geometric representation for surface curve ? confused.gif
