X2 Machine Def

Have you tried going into Files in the OPs Manager

and changing the Machine to the one you want?

also

make sure X_MR2 and X2 are using the same set of Machine Defs. If you did a side by side install

you've got 2 Machine Def folders on your computer.

Keep in mind... once you use a Machine Def in X2

it can't be used in X_MR2. The automactic

conversion utility gives you the option tomake a backup copy.

gcode,

We can not change machines in the OP's Mananger. If we do it just reverts back to a "generic" machine. Again, this only happens when we bring in a file from X1 to X2.

We did side by side install on all 9 computers, however, all of the Machine information is in a folder on the server and all of the work stations read from this folder.

There is not a second Machine Definition folder that I could find.

Is this folder write protected??

X2 needs to update the Machine Def's to X2

If the network folder is write protected it can't do that.

I'd try copying the network folder to a local drive on one machine and see if you can get things running, then put it back on the network.
