I placed DanWall in FTP (MC8 directory).Would someone please explain how to approach this. Wall starts of open at long end,but closes at curve, also it is trim of larger surface as u can see in level (1) wich does not have UV's parallel to axis. Im trying a bellmouth cutter to get under closed areas, and using Flowline, but this method is not what i expect, as tool wants to follow UV's. Anyway to do Surf-Fin-Contour. In older versions i would get error of undercuts but i would ignore and would work fine. Now if I try Contour, toolpath will not go into closed areas.

Please Help.

Hi sir fixed look for file danwallcadcam.mc8

look in the levels to see the diffrent surfaces.

useing your splines made a ruled surface exactly like the other but not trimed.

woola it works great.

It is reading some of the trimed surface info and keeps wanting to pull out.

In this case it was a easy fix ,but not alwas the case.

Nice tip Jay,

I'd love to hear a detailed explanation as to

why that happens w/trimmed surfaces.Dan,as to the

retract question,I think(dont mc in front of me)that flowline has a direction box that will

let you change your entries and exits,Jay will

verify this for me(or not).
