Save some: Solids bug?

When I perform a "save some" option with solids, X2 automatically selects all assoiciative wireframe geometry. However it does not select surfaces, sheet solids, and other solids that are associated. Is this a bug?

I've heard this reported in the past, so it might be. I'll check it out here.

I have noticed the same thing, It hasn't been a big deal for me though. I guess that is why I didn't think much of it.

One problem we can see here (and its been reported before) is that if you use Solid Trim to trim a solid to a 'sheet solid', then the SaveSome fails to save the sheet like it should. It appears to work for Solids which are trimmed to surfaces.

What other cases are you guys seeing it fail in?

I guess you're right. I tried some other situations and it worked. In the files where I was having the problem, I had used several different options but when the regen failed, it failed for everything down the line. The sheet solid must have been the problem. Thanks, Pete.

It's not going to make it into either the upcoming X2 SP1 or the first Beta release of X2 MR1, but we'll try to clear it up for the official release of X2 MR1.
