lathe post help

Need help modifying my lathe post.

Running X2 on a Hyundia Lathe. I got the post from my reseller but it needs tweaking.

1st thing I want to do is remove the line #'s. Seems pretty simple to me, I've done this to several other post before. Here is the line that I'm trying to change, but not having any luck.

omitseq$ : no$ #Omit sequence numbers? (use -1 to enable sequence for LCC)

I have changed this to yes$ but no luck.

2nd thing is the post outputs radius' as "B", I want "I,J,K" Here is the line that I have been changing but haven't made any changes to the nc file.

arcoutput$ : 0 #0 = IJK, 1 = R no sign, 2 = R signed neg. over 180

Any help would be greatful!!!

Rob

elbro, Crazy, no prize yet.

I didn't get any change. I have changed arc tyre to abs and delta start to center. neither one made any changes. How about arc breaks? what should it be set on. Also do these need to be set to the same as what the post has set?

This is really screwing with me?

I might check these in the post just to see if the definition of the variable was changed to a B

code:

fmt I 3 iout #Arc center description in X

fmt J 3 jout #Arc center description in Y

fmt K 3 kout #Arc center description in Z

I have contacted the dealer about this (CadCam Solutions). They are teaching class today and maybe tomorrow. I think I'll call them again in the morning about this. I can't figure if my problem is in the post or if I just don't have all my settings right in my control and machine definitions. I'm new to MC Lathe in the later Versions. Last time I was on a lathe to program I was using V5.5.

It's about time to go home. If any one has anyother input please feel free to address the issue. It will be tomorrow before I can answer any more questions.

Thanks
