I have never been able to get to the ftp site why?

For the 1st time in 3 years...I got on today.

Company just switched servers.

 

what are you using to get to the ftp?

sometimes its company firewalls, sometimes it is in your advanced internet options settings where passive ftp is checked, but I think you can leave it checked now.

Are you using Internet Explorer?

 

If so, check...Tools..internet options...advanced..and try unchecking use passive ftp. and see what happens

he was givin me crap...try this..click on your tools-internet options-advanced-and uncheck the box that says.."enable folder view on ftp" and down a little further check the box that says.."USE PASSIVE FTP"

 

When I leave the enable folder view on ftp checked..I get the waving flashlight. When I UNCHECK it then I can see the folders.

by the way ..the use passive ftp can stay checked if I uncheck the "enable folder view on ftp"

yeh..its please save your files as a version 9 before placing on the ftp..and if you have any toolpaths, might as well ditch em cause I cant import them in.

I must be blind. When I click the cadman's FTp site link it will show me the directory. when i click the file i want it asks for user and pass.
