Z0 has to be the top.

Open up Mastercam help and search for the word Agie and read the rules. (I think there is a French version.)

quote:

Toolpath Tips

For the Agievision control, we recommend that a part's zero position be on top. You then define geometry as negative from the Z=0 plane.

Before running agie.dll, define your stock in the machine group's Stock setup option. If you do not define your stock, agie.dll warns that the path requires stock dimensions. You will then be unable to complete the toolpath.

When window selecting chains, if each contour needs separate settings, set Mastercam to generate separate operations.

Mastercam gets the Measure point from the Start position at the first tool only. (Start Point means Measure Point in Agie terms.) The Auto start position check box in the Lead in/out tab of the toolpath's parameters dialog box controls this option. Normally, you should disable Auto start position so that Mastercam writes the start point to the output.

Events are created for Stop (SERP), but not for Glue Stop, so tabs do not create the event unless stop is selected in NC Parameters.

Set Misc Values 7 to 2

MI7 - At radius smaller than offset (0=off, 1=undercut, 2=no undercut)
