LX2 controller

As i try not to reinvent the wheel when not necessary i am posting a request to see if anyone has a post processor that outputs Prototrax language for a Prototrax LX2 controller for a lathe. The standard post from CNC is fanuc based and won't run on this controller.

the code looks like

"G101 XB0.0ZB0.0XE1.0ZE0.0R0.5 TC2 F1.0"

First the Trak LX2 will run from a modified Fanuc 6T format. See your Cad/Cam Interface Manual that came with your lathe. I've uploaded a post I wrote for the LX3 to the FTP site. It will also work fine on the LX2. It's in the Text & Post Files directory. Hope it is a help to you.

Lame questions are always forgiven on Monday mornings. Let me know if the post works ok for you. I forgot to tell you that its set up to program from the bottom in Mastercam (looks more like the way the Trak lathe works). You have to set your tools in the bottom turret in Mastercam. The post will take care of all the conversions from neg X to positive X.
