Block delete - Op skip

Hello,

 

The company I work has been using fixtures that allow us to machine 2 identical parts on the same pallet fixture. So in other words we would machine the 1st part on B0 and the 2nd part on B180. I would like to use transform to copy my tool paths from B0 to B180 and also use a block delete when we have just one part. (We run very low quanities)

use the mpsubrep post. run tool path one time and let the post handle the rest. you can run 1 part with the block skip on or as many as your control will allow with it off.

PUT ON G54 THE FIRST PART ZERO, ON G55 THE SECOND ONE AND SO ON...

You could also have a main program that calls your part program with a M99 at the end.

 

Main program exaple,

M198 P#

G90 G10 L2 P1 B180.

M198 #

G90 G10 L2 P1 B0.

M30

 

All the operater has to do is edit the main program for which part he wants to run at what B position.
