Double output of tool

Hey all,

 

I am using T0505 (boring bar) in a program and I want to use it for finishing as well. But, on my finish CC I selected force tool change so that after all the roughing it can be checked. Then I created a second finish CC also with a force tool change.

 

The rough leaves .04" on all X's, the first finish leaves .02" on all X's and the last one finishes complete. The force is so that it can be checked for accuracy between each finish.

 

Now, after that long winded storey, I am only getting 1 finish pass output. It is all set accuratly, but almost seems like it's ignoring the second finish pass.... why?

In Canned Cycles, I'm not sure but I think that to get another finish pass, you may need another rough pass also.

 

I am not an expert though, hopefully someone with more knowledge will reply.

Got a file to share? Make sure it is not canned cycle like suggested. Have you tried 2 finish operations and still the same problem?

I have not tried 2 finish ops non-cc. I am trying to reduce my code a bit because it a fairly long program...

 

Unfortunatly I cannot share the file as it's a prototype (not that I am suppose to share anything...really).

 

I wondered if someone else would be able to draw something up and doube finish it and tell me if it does the same thing on output...?

Make sure stock to leave on last pass is set to zero. (if you copied the op from the prior operation)
