Job Recovery

In X2MR1 I went to save a job and got an error message and lost everything. My question is because I can still click on the file name and the preview shows a picure of the file is it really gone? I lost all geometry and toolpaths yet the preview shows the part. I'm running XP home with System restore turned on, and Im wondering if that might work. Thanks in advance.

Check your file size. If it seems unusually small, it's gone.

 

Backup, Backup, Backup!!!

Turn off the "Save a Bitmap option" it is part of what is causing the issue especially on a low end system. Turn on and set up "Backup" It will save your bacon!!!!!!

Thanks, I set up backup. The only reason I'm not terribly upset about this is I already created the NC file to run the job. I just never got a chance to double check my programming. Fingers crossed. :-)
