Hi guys

 

Question for material library,

If I have a welding part and this part have two different material ,It is possible to use two different materiel library in the same program ? This is for the same tool and I use it in operation back to back .

You could switch back and forth while doing the operations but in my humble Opinion a PIA. Why not just use what SFM and IPM are best for each material and just use that to program the part. I personally never use Material for any programming. I use SFM, Chip load per tooth, Machine capabilities, Length of tool sticking out of Spindle and Holder, and what the different tools are doing as my determining factors for speeds and feeds.
