X2 and nethasp

My reseller came in and upgraded us to X2 and a nethasp. It works on some Windows logins but not on mine. Am I just cursed or does somebody have an idea as to what the problem is. I click on the icon and get a hourglass for about 1 second and then nothing. He also removed all of my older versions because he said that they were causing a conflict. Gotta love Mondays. Any help is appreciated. Dan

Right click on the icon then properties make sure the path is correct.

Correct path. I tried to start it from the mastercam.exe with the same result.

Does the NetHASP server have a static IP address?

 

If so you may want to check/edit the NetHASP.ini under the [NH_TCPIP] section and set the static IP of the NetHASP server.

 

 

[NH_TCPIP]

 

NH_SERVER_ADDR = 192.168.1.1 ; Something like this.

 

Also make sure you are using the same subnet mask as the sever also.

Steve, if another user is logged on to this workstation it will work so I think the address is ok. I checked the security settings in the properties and they seem to be the same. Is it friday yet? Dan
