running mastercam on a tablet pc

has anyone tried running X (or any other version of mastercam for that matter) on a tablet pc? i'm curious how well it would work out.

No experince but if I were ot make an educated guess, I'd say there could be serious graphics issues.

used to run v8 on a 400mhz with pos graphics card. had constant probs with locking up. forever to regen toolpaths. didn't know about this website then. funny. we're programming making the company money with 400mhz machines and the secretaries got 2gig computers. we didn't even get their first hand me down 1gig comp's.

now move to new company and not a single comp below 2.4. what a dif.

You could try Mastercam Draft. I've got a v9 and a v6. The v6 would probably run on a calculator.

I am running on a Toshiba Tecra M4 Tablet PC.

 

Dynamic Rotation is kind of awkward - but everything else is good. (Nvidia 6600 video).

The only thing i've heard from them were about the intial tablets. And i know they had graphics card issues way back then just getting the operating system to work. Though i think the concept itself would be kind of neat.
