hasp to install software?

I forgot my hasp at work.

 

Can I still install the sofrware?

I believe you can install, but it will not run.

 

Be glad you don' have a net-hasp. Can't do what your doing.

We all use laptops at work with a nethasp. We can access the nethasp from home

Our IT eggheads only allow sr. management to log in to the company network. I guess I just have to wait to get to work, no matter the rush!!

Makes life easier if you travel a lot. Our company has this cool program called VNC. It's kinda like net-meeting but 3D programs work on it. If I'm traveling with my laptop I can connect and work from my desktop. Ahhh... technology!

How about this problem. I installed MC and nethasp at home. We have a nethasp here at work and wanted to use MC at home. I now want to remove mastercam and the nethasp software, but can't the nethasp ( hasp license) to remove. Do I need the hasp to be plugged into the computer in order for it to be removed?

Hi Rob,

 

If running Mastercam from home and you were accessing the nethasp from work, all you need to do is uninstall Mastercam, that will do the trick.

 

There is a nethasp license manager that needs to be uninstalled, only, and only if, your computer was the "server" computer where the licenses were being released from (i.e where the nethasp is plugged in).
