I have a project , I have to machine a mold in mdf, to create a 4' x 4' that we would put some "cement" or other stuff in to create stone look, to go outside. Creating each stone with a 1/4" between each should not be too hard but what is the best way to create the irregular surface of each stone ??? I'm a begineer in Mastercam Art so.........

Thanks for your precious help !!

What type of stone are you trying to replicate. If it's something like dry stone, feild stone or river rock, you could draw the outline of each individual piece and then modify the concave properties of each one, or several with the same properties randomly spread around. Doeas that make sense? After you machine it you could then beat it with a hammer or a heavy chain to get some irregular surfaces. HTH
