I have MC8.1.1, HAAS VF3,and and am using the mpsubrep post.

What I have been trying to do is make a program to run two diferent parts at the same time. I can not figure out how to get this post to make multiple work offsets. I use to use the mpfan post and had no problens . How do I get it to work? Anny help would be apreciated.

Why are you use this post instead of a haas post if I may ask?

Go to misc. settings in parameter page on first operation and set number of parts 2, 3, etc. It will then do G54 G55 G56 etc.

Make sure you have called up this post first before going to parameters.

The mpsubrep post was specifically created to make multiple identical parts at incrementing WCS values, prior to V8, when Transformed Subs were introduced. If you are trying to use 2 WCS values for 2 different parts, you are using the wrong post.

I wanted to use the mpsuprep post instead of another is because it is my only post that requires me to do any editing. I am starting ti learn more about posts but at the moment they are kind of a mystery to me.

So there is no such thing as a perfect post for my machine?

This is a preaty big statment for only cheacking one avenue.

Have you talked with your dealer to adjust a post like your old one but for the newer version.

 

If your old post worked perfect for you then it can be done again.

Perhaps you are looking for the "Work offset" value found under the "T/C Plane" button. It controls the WCS value. Do a search on these string to pull previous message threads on this topic.
