I re-install mcam8.1.1 in my pc and I have no dll in my folder (chook)

 

j'ai ré-installer mcam8.1.1 sur mon nouveau pc et dans le dosier chook j'ai rien

 

c'est surement pas grand chose mais je ne voie pas merci a tous

So you are saying that is did not install the chooks?

Have you gone in the folder it self to see if they are there?

yes I have in folder txt file and another but not the dll I clic alt-C in mastercam and I have nothing in window.

1. Go to Windows Explore window.

2. Find the Folder Options.

3. Uncheck the box that says Hide extensions for known file types.

 

This should fix the problem

I suggest install fix.

put the disc in and it will ask to uninstall.

click ok then when asked to install after it says it found the software all ready there say "NO" then you will get more options.

 

here you will find the option to repair.

Ernie's suggestion is first. In Win2k Pro, Win 98, WinME "DLL's" or C-Hooks by default are not visible.

Nice to see you posting here Ernie. This is one of your ex employees that moved to Michigan about 10 years ago. Still using Mastercam, and loving it.

You will need to go to Windows Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, View Tab, and check "Show hidden files and folders". This is for a Win2000 machine. The process is a little different for Win98 but I can't remember the exact steps. However, they are pretty much the same as in 2000. Good luck.
