MC Lathe for a Grinder???

What's happening everyone?

I thought I saw this topic before but couldn't find anything on a search. headscratch.gif

We have a Kellenberger 4 axis grinder. 2 OD/ 2 ID heads with profile dress and grind capabilities. I'm thinking there could possibly be someone out there that uses MC Lathe to program this way, maybe not on a kellenberger but something else(Studer?) If anyone has any ideas let me know, my superiors and I are VERY curious.

Thanks, Josh

We have a studer s40 I have been working on a post for it for a while now. The grinding guys don't like the idea of using Mcam and I have no experince in grinding. It would work very well for cams and out of round. I have got a few things done with lathe but I am sure with the right people you can make it work smoothly.
