Highspeed transition

I am using mpmaster post. I thought it would output helix moves but I'm not sure. We are running a Haas macining center which will read the helical move. I don't have any experience reading nci code, but I was curious whether or not mastercam is outputing nci code with linear moves or helical on the transition motion.I looked at the post and it supports helical moves. In the general output settings helix_arc is set to 1. This leads me to wonder if the nci is a helix. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

Backplot the transition with the save geometry option on. Analyze your resulting geometry. Splines will end up as linear moves. Helical arcs end up as flat arcs (as they can't be represented as arcs in the geometry - a helical arc is not really an arc.)

If you have helical arcs in your NCI, but lines in the posted code, this points to a post issue. If you have lines in the NCI, this is how Mastercam is handling the smooth transition.
