Capto Suppliers

Hello All,

Trying to put together a list of Capto C6 suppliers now that Capto is going ISO. Right now we buy from sandvik, Big Kaiser, and seco. Do any of you know anywhere else we can get this tooling? Any help would be appreciated.

Most tool manufactures sell Capto.

Iscar,Secco, Big ect. There range will just get better. Most sell Capto turning holders but have limited milling. This will change and pricing should get better too.

How does the pricing compare?

 

At the moment, we pretty much buy all our Capto from Sandvik, since we have two Sandvik Coromant reps full time on site.

Untill Know Sandvik owned the patent on Capto. Now the patent has run out and it becomes an ISO standard most others will produce Capto tooling.

I can get better pricing on Capto tooling through other than Sandvik.

They just dont have the range Sandvik do for now.
