Change recognition: new solid in wrong position

I created a *.MCX in MCX2 file from a parasolid (*.x_t) made in Solidworks2007.

I have made changes to the file in SW and have succesfully done the change recognition a couple of times.

Now in this last rounnd of editing, when I do the change recogntition, the position of the new solid is offset from the old one. It is not rotated, just off by about 1/4" along two axis.

I have tried change recognition with the *.sldprt also but I have the same problem.

Is there something that I should do or not do?

Use a SolidWorks Coordnate system to define

your model's desired position in Mastercam.

Export your SW model as a parasolid (X_B or X_T)

and choose your coordinate system from the dropdown in the File/Save As menu.

When you import the parasolid, it will open

in Mastercam correctly positioned.

This works with Solidworks IGES and STL files as well.
