Pinewood Derby Cars

How many people here have machined out their pinewood derby cars useing Mastercam. I have several I will be glad to share if anyone would like to trade some ideas. This is our last year and would really like to do it up right.

Is there a way to do a search on the FTP site?

There is a folder on the ftp site called MC9_filespinewood derby. You could upload anything you would like to share into that folder and I'm sure there are a few people here who would appreciate it.

 

There are a few models in there now, and I also have a few ideas I haven't quite gotten around to finishing yet.

 

We do Awana Grand Prix at our church which is the same as Pinewood Derby. I've done a few cars on the CNC over the years and it's quite a bit of fun.

Ah! the Pinewood derby fun! My 2 sons and I did a couple of cars over the years, we won both regional and district races in Vancouver back then. The kids (as well as Dad) had lots of fun.

All of these went to Council. The one named BL2007 made it to Council in show.

 

The files are sort of big they have the programs with them also.
