I agree that mentality has been entrenched in our culture. The idea that "same system" helps control the revision and quality is a pipe dream. I've worked with several top level Catia guys in Auburn that now use both Catia and Mastercam on large production airframe components. Yep, believe it our not, Mastercam is catching on.

 

Having Catia NC being integrated into the whole package is "supposed" to make it a snap to change the design, then update everything else that follows like magic. I say the proof is in the pudding.
