haas balk

Calling all haas gurus,

we have 2 machines that are identical, both Haas vf2 supers,both have the fifth axis TC5 single collet indexers loaded on them, one runs the program fine but the gives an error message that states:

Radius at start must match radius at end of arc within .001.

Since the program runs on the one machine but not the other i am assuming that a parameter set must be different between the machines.

am i right or am i wayyyy out in left field.

Sounds like a good assumption to me.

Call Haas should be an easy fix.

I'm thinking setting 85

MAx corner rounding. Seems I ran into that long ago in a previous life....

My mini is set at .005

Have a look see and see if they are different

You can do both ideas but I think Jim has it. If you look at par 85 on both machines see if they are different.

both parameters are set the same so i guess i should be looking at the software build to see if it's the same. any other suggestions will be more than welcome.

I just looked through the settings and parameters but have not found anyhting promising...

What to the Haas techs have to say about it?

so far all is silent on the HAAS front i sent them my code friday but no answer yet.

I would bet it's your tolerance error parameters you should download parameters and file compare like they mentioned earlier

Also could be two things:

 

 

 

Max 3rd derivative.

 

 

 

Parameter 292 perhaps.
