I have a problem with my Lathe post that I cannot seem to solve, Or perhaps I even created it myself.

MY problem is that the LB-300M post which started life as MPLOSP7 does not output the correct spindle RPM before CSS is activated

As you can see for some reason my post is slighlty off in the spindle rev calculation speed. Any ideas where to look?

Well as fate has it as soon as I asked this question I found the answewr

The fix is to # out the below line from ltlchg$ #Toolchange, lathe

#pmap_home #Get home position, xabs

The calculation is incorrect because this post has hardcoded home positions. As a result the RPM is calculated form the tool home position as defined in the toolpath parameters page which in my case was defaulted to 250mm dia. Hence the RPM of 507 at 400m/min cutting speed

I'll second that. We purchased the InHouse post for our Multus B400W. It kicks a**.

It had to be tweaked (very minor) for use of the Sandvik twin/multi tools, but other than that it was almost perfect.

If you need great posts, go straight to InHouse.
